China has a long, well-documented national history, where - to generalise a bit - periods of turmoil and wars between various groups have alternated with periods of peace and stability under a single consolidated ruler. (This can be observed in the history of many other nations, such as Russia.) Thus, the ending of this film should not be discarded as just 'Chinese Communist propaganda'. It is a point of view based on the experience of thousands of years. Surely, others with the same experience might not be of the same opinion, but that doesn't mean one shouldn't give thought to the point made here.
